This policy explains what information QueenTopList collects from visitors, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep the language straightforward and avoid hidden surprises.
Who we are
QueenTopList is an independent online comparison platform reviewing UK-facing casino brands. We are not a casino operator and we do not hold any player funds or run gambling activity.
What we collect
- Usage data. Pages visited, referring pages, time on site, approximate location at country level, browser, and device type. This is collected through standard analytics and cookies.
- Contact data. If you email us or submit our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to provide.
- Click data. When you follow an outbound link to an operator, an affiliate tracking parameter is added to the URL so the operator can attribute the visit. We do not see your account, real name, or payment details on the operator’s side.
Why we use it
- To understand how the comparison content is used and improve it.
- To respond to messages sent to the editorial team.
- To measure affiliate referrals so that we can be paid by operators’ affiliate programmes.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests for site analytics carried out in an aggregated way, your consent for any non-essential cookies, and the performance of communication when you contact us. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting cookie preferences or by emailing us.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, such as analytics and hosting, and with affiliate networks that record referral clicks. We require these providers to handle data in line with UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, ask us to erase it, object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise these rights please email privacy@queentoplist.com.
Retention
Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months after the last reply. Aggregated analytics are kept for up to 26 months. Affiliate click identifiers are kept only as long as needed to reconcile referrals.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. UK online gambling is restricted to adults aged 18 and over.
